However, there a number of design flaws: (1)The switch to control off-lo-hi settings in located in a very difficult place to get to, once mounted and if you are using the 4-D cell option. (2)The switch sense should be marked on the case and is (shockingly) located next to the battery connectors. (3) You really need a 12 V input battery to get and effective pulse out of this device. I had to design a separate holder for a 12 volt battery (extra $$) and attach it below the housing. (4)There is no design provision for attaching the plastic housing to a fence post (metal or wood). So it was duct tape to the rescue (again). In conclusion, the designer ought to be required to actually use the product.
