(More customer reviews)I have to say that I expected more. These are not 5"x 6" but more like 4"x 5", very thin material - like gauze, and the printing on them is very faint with the wind horse on all the flags. That said, they still will fulfill their intended purpose.

A prayer flag is a colorful panel of rectangular cloth often found strung along mountain ridges and peaks high in the Himalayas to bless the surrounding countryside. Prayer flags are inscribed with auspicious symbols, invocation, prayers, and mantras. The center of a prayer flag traditionally features a "Windhorse" bearing flaming jewels on its back. The flaming jewels symbolize the Buddha, the Dharma (Buddhist teachings), and the Sangha (Buddhist community), the three cornerstones of Tibetan philosophical tradition. The prayer flags come in sets of five colors. The five colors represent the elements and are arranged from in a specific order. Blue symbolizes sky. White symbolizes air. Red symbolizes fire. Green symbolizes water. Yellow symbolizes earth.
